Press right side of the menu button until you see “information” on the display. Press the right side of the item button until you see print configuration in the display. Press Select button and an EIO Configuration page will print.

With the printer in Ready mode simultaneously press Go and Reset/Job Cancel. The page count is the third item in the first section of the resulting test page.
5N/5M, 4V/MV, 5/5M, 4/+/M/M+
Take printer Offline, press the menu button until you see Test Menu in the display. Press the Item button until you see Self-Test in the display, press enter and a self-test page will print. The page count is on the left side of the page, third section, and fourth item down for the 4V/MV. The page count is the third item down for the 4/+/M/M+
5Si/SiMX
Take printer Offline, press the menu button until you see Test Menu in the display, press Item once until PCL Configuration Page or Self Test appears, press enter and a self-test page or configuration page will print. The page count is the fifth item on the Printer Information section of the page.
4P
Take the printer Offline, press Menu 7 times until Test Menu is displayed, press item once, Self-Test should be displayed. Press enter, the page count is on the first section, third item of the resulting page.
4Si/SiMX
Take printer Offline, press the Menu button until you see Test Menu in the display. Press the Item button until you see Self-Test in the display. Press Enter the page count is on the left side of the resulting page, second section, and second item.
II, III
Take the printer Offline. Press and hold Print Fonts/Test until the display reads 05 Self-Test. The page count is on the left side, second section down, and second item.
IIIsi
Take printer Offline, press the Test button until you see 05 Self Test in the display and a self-test page will print. The page count is on the left side of the page, second section down, and second item.
III, IIID
Press and hold the Status button on the back of the HP Jet Direct XIO Card; Continue holding the Status button until the printer starts printing.

Press system menu/counter, scroll to the "counter check", press ENTER, and scroll to (See Page).

Press the menu buttom, scroll down one to "Status Page", and press the "Enter" key twice. It will print out a status page with both the color and monochrome prints.
FS-2000DN/3900DN/4000DN
Print the menu button, scroll down one to "Status Page", and press the "Enter" key twice. It will print out a status page with the print count on it.
